So why vanpool?

When you look at the cost of fuel, maintenance, insurance and vehicle depreciation, vanpooling can save you money!  Driving alone an average of 100 miles per day from Kalamazoo to Grand Rapids can add up:

100 miles x 260 work days = 26,000 miles per year
26,000 miles x $.48 = $12,480 per year

Vanpooling is also tax-friendly

Some employers participate in pre-tax payroll deductions for mass transit. Check with your employer to see if they currently participate in this pre-tax benefit (IRS Tax Code 132(f)).
